Dazai was and continues to be a thorn in my side. I thought that, upon my arrival, I would finally be free of his schemes and terror, but he's here. Of course he's here!

Nakahara and I were able to discover a common ground between us thanks to him, which I am grateful for. But I do admit that I was hoping it wouldn't have ended so quickly.

I see. Dazai told me very little about what time frame his former partner came from, so I was hoping you may have known more.

He might return again. This is his second departure, so it may not be the last time. Although it seems each time, Chuuya's a little different. It might have something to do with the timelines.

Even if you weren't able to find out, it doesn't matter anyway. What happens there has nothing to do with our current situation.

That's correct. I've been here twice, after all, so there's a chance he might return again.

That may be so, but I'm still finding that I think about what may happen back home fairly often. It's not healthy, but I can't help but wonder and hope for more information to come my way.

Even if you get the information you seek, what will you be able to do about it?

I don't know anything about the current situation, but if things have turned for the worse, wouldn't that be even more stressful to know? But that's your business if you wish to be ill from worry.

I've been told that before. I suppose it's not a bad perspective to take. Perhaps I should seriously consider trying to avoid discovering too much about the future.
